In the digital world we live in right now, our hands are missing the sensory inputs of touch. When have you last touched something and really taken your time to explore the texture? Handcrafts can be a tool to get those sensations back, but they can also be so much more.

tactile uses a mixture of multiple analog and digital techniques to explore the relationship between them and their limitations, including crochet, 3D animation and stop motion. The main characters in the story being told are those who are most affected by the subject matter: hands.
