"Spluutsh" is a movement focused jump'n'run title, in which the player maneuvers a character through a platformer-like level in the first-person perspective. The levels and the general design stick to a "Tron" like neon style to make the effects pop more and to make the coatings more recognizable. For this, we would have generally oriented the design to games like GTTOD or Tron. The gameplay is very much based on "flow" and speed, but also responsiveness. The players move the character over the standard WASD key assignment and sprint with SHIFT. With CTRL a slide is initialized during normal sprinting, which takes over full momentum and does not reduce it. If you press SPACE at the right moment you get a kind of trampoline effect, with which you reach the original height again. So timing is the key to success here for sliding and jumping. "Wallrunnen" should also be possible and presumably no momentum will be reduced. Presumably there will be no "double jump". Now to the name-giving "Spluutsh" (from eng. Splooge). The players can use up their "Spluutsh supply" with the RMB and LMB respectively, in order to cover surfaces with it. In doing so, "sliding" over one builds up speed and the other makes you jump higher as long as you touch it (trampoline effect). The spluutsh can be replenished via several "pick-ups" on the map.
